Which service is right for me?
Choose Connect if you want a supplier introduction and will manage the supplier yourself. Choose Source if you want Taotus to manage sourcing and supply the goods while you arrange shipping. Choose Deliver if you also want Taotus to coordinate delivery to your agreed destination. If you are unsure, choose “Help me choose” in your RFQ.
Will I know the supplier’s identity?
Connect is an introduction service: supplier details are handed over once the introduction terms are agreed. With Source and Deliver, Optilink, trading as Taotus, is your commercial counterpart and supplier identities are kept confidential. Supplier names and direct contacts are not included in buyer-facing shortlists or proposals. Any legally required disclosures and shipping documents are addressed in the agreed terms.
Who handles purchasing and shipping?
With Connect, you deal directly with the supplier after introduction. With Source and Deliver, Optilink, trading as Taotus, buys from the supplier and resells to you under an agreed quotation. You arrange shipping with Source; Taotus coordinates door-to-door logistics with Deliver. Collection arrangements, delivery terms, import clearance, duties, and each party’s responsibilities are agreed before an order.
How are arrangements and quotations agreed?
Connect works under an agreed arrangement, including any charge, confirmed in writing before supplier details are released. Source and Deliver are quoted for your specific requirements, with our margin reflected in the commercial offer. Scope, payment terms, and any separately chargeable samples, inspections, freight, or duties are agreed before you commit.
Can I request samples or specific checks?
Yes. Include the samples, standards, certifications, or inspection requirements you need in your brief. Availability, the extent of checks, costs, and approval steps are confirmed as part of the scope. A request or quotation does not itself certify a supplier or a product.
How do I contact Taotus?
Use the RFQ builder above, review your brief, then press Send. It reaches the Taotus team directly and we reply to the business email you provide. You can also copy or download the brief. Sending a brief is an enquiry only: it does not place an order or commit either side.
